Bound
Get up, Infested, and make your way to the Saint, and you may get a second chance.
Made for Ravel Jam 2024, based on the theme "Tightly knit".

Bound is a narrative game about the compounding difficulties of failing. Talk to NPCs as you do some light puzzle platforming and get killed by traps. Make it to the Saint, and you may be purified. If you can't take it anymore, you can always give up.

Controls
Move: Arrow keys or WASD
Jump: Space
Interact: E
Climb/grab ladder: Up/W
Release ladder: Jump (Space)
Open/close options menu: Esc
If you see a "..." above an NPC, it means they're waiting to talk, and someone else needs to finish first, at which point they'll start talking. So don't walk away!
Known bugs
- There's a place near the end of the level where you can get stuck (and thus softlock the game). To avoid, if you see any triangles blocking your way going backwards and down into a tunnel, don't try to jump on them.
- The volume of the NPC voices vs "internal" voices are different for some reason unknown to me. I.e. you might need to set the voices volume slider (press Esc to open the menu) to have the NPC voices a bit too loud and the other voices a bit too quiet. Sorry!
