Hackjack
Journey across the wasteland and face enemies in blackjack combat!
Hackjack is a roguelike card game that uses the rules of blackjack to resolve combat. Equip abilities and play the odds, getting stronger as you travel across the wasteland.

Hack your way through enemies before you're killed. Both you and the enemy use a full standard deck, so count cards and outwit those who stand in your way.

Level the playing field by assigning abilities to each card value, unlocking extra effects when you play those cards, including increasing your blackjack maximum, inflicting poison on bust, and dealing damage on losing a hand.

When your luck runs out, don't despair. You can cheat death four times in a run, giving you a fighting chance to keep winning and beat the odds.

Tips
- Use the voiding action to remove cards from your own or your opponent's hands. This helps a lot to mitigate the randomness.
- Use blackjack strategies to play the long-term odds; sometimes luck won't be on your side, but you can get good odds over time if you play smart.
- As an example, hover over the deck to see the remaining cards, and try to predict your opponent's next likely card to make your decision to stand or hit.
- Don't be afraid to use Feint! It can mitigate a bad hand, and will still activate "on loss" abilities, so take advantage of that!
